San Diego – September 2025. General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), in partnership with the Dutch Ministry of Defence and the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, will host the second edition of Blue Magic Netherlands (BMNL) on 18 November 2025. The event will be held at the MELT at Avular building near Brainport Eindhoven, the hub of Dutch high-technology manufacturing.
BMNL 2025 follows the success of the inaugural event in 2024 and continues to provide a platform for technology ideation and implementation within the Dutch industrial ecosystem. Registration is now open at www.ga-asi.com/blue-magic-netherlands-2025.
Brad Lunn, Managing Director for GA-ASI, said:
“The first BMNL event was a huge success for Dutch industry. We’ve built strong investment opportunities with Dutch companies — including Arceon, Emergent Swarm Solutions, and Saluqi Motors — and now we’re looking to build on that success at BMNL 2025.”
GA-ASI is inviting Dutch aerospace and technology companies to submit proposals for transformative next-generation solutions. This year’s focus areas include Intelligent Systems (AI, Machine Learning, and Autonomy), Smart Materials, Sensors, Space, and Counter-UAS technologies.
Companies must submit pitch proposals in PDF format by 10 October 2025, with notifications for selected participants issued on 3 November 2025. The event will feature live pitches, panel discussions, and networking opportunities with leaders from advanced technology, aerospace, business, and government.
GA-ASI supplies its MQ-9A Remotely Piloted Aircraft to the Royal Netherlands Air Force and continues to expand its partnerships with Dutch innovators. In collaboration with Brainport Development Eindhoven, Lockheed Martin Ventures, Brabant Development Agency, and the Netherlands Industries for Defence & Security (NIDV), GA-ASI aims to strengthen ties with the Dutch innovation community.
In addition to the live event, organisers will also host a series of virtual workshops to support defence technology start-ups across the Netherlands.
