Skytech Inc., founded in 1976 with locations in Maryland, South Carolina, and Georgia, will officially complete its rebranding as Pilatus Aircraft USA on 1 January 2026. The move marks the full integration of the company into the Pilatus Group, following its acquisition together with all employees in 2022. The new entity will be headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado.

 

The change of name reinforces Skytech’s long-standing alignment with the Pilatus Group and underscores the Swiss manufacturer’s commitment to quality, customer proximity, and the local workforce. Under the Pilatus brand, customers can continue to rely on the proven Skytech team for its high standard of service, technical expertise, and personalised support.

 

Pilatus stated that adopting a uniform global brand identity is central to its long-term strategy. The new name clearly positions Skytech as part of the global Pilatus network, supporting customers and business partners with clarity and confidence. The rebranding also reflects Pilatus’ sustained commitment to the US market and the enhanced benefits customers can expect from deeper integration with Pilatus’ resources and expertise.

 

With the acquisition of Skytech, Pilatus has strengthened its footprint in the United States, an essential market for the company. Pilatus has maintained a presence in Colorado for 29 years, where final assembly of both the PC-12 and PC-24 takes place. Further investment in the expansion of this site, alongside the creation of new jobs, is planned. The company has identified significant growth potential in the coming years, reaffirming its contribution to economic development on the US East Coast.

Pilatus also plans to establish a new site in Florida dedicated to assembly work for PC-12 aircraft destined for the North and South American markets.

 

From 2026, Pilatus Aircraft USA will include its headquarters in Broomfield, CO (KBJC), with additional locations in Westminster, MD (KDMW), Rock Hill, SC (KUZA), and Atlanta, GA (KPDK). A growing team of approximately 400 employees nationwide will continue to support Pilatus’ expanding US operations.
