LONG-TERM MATERIALS AGREEMENT SUPPORTS BOEING PROGRAMMES

Syensqo has secured a new multi-year agreement with Boeing to continue supplying advanced material solutions supporting the manufacturer’s commercial and defence aircraft programmes.

The renewed contract covers a range of applications across aircraft structures and interiors, including primary and secondary structures, interior components and surface systems. The agreement further reinforces the aerospace sector as a core growth area for Syensqo.

According to the company, aerospace represents its largest end market, accounting for approximately 20% of Syensqo’s net sales.

ADVANCED MATERIALS SUPPORT LIGHTWEIGHT AIRCRAFT DESIGN

Syensqo supplies a portfolio of lightweight materials used in modern aircraft manufacturing, including advanced composite materials and structural adhesives. These materials support the development of lighter, more durable aircraft structures and contribute to improved operational efficiency and reduced emissions.

The company noted that aerospace remains one of its most advanced high-performance markets, where materials science expertise plays a role in enhancing aircraft durability and sustainability.

Rodrigo Elizondo, President of Syensqo Composite Materials, said the renewed agreement reflects the long-standing relationship between the two companies.

“It is an honour to continue our partnership with Boeing and to supply advanced materials from our global manufacturing footprint in support of Boeing,” he said.

Elizondo added that aerospace remains a strategic priority for Syensqo and that the agreement strengthens the company’s position as a materials partner to major aircraft manufacturers.
