VISTA REPORTS GROWING PRIVATE AVIATION DEMAND ACROSS CHINA

Vista has reported strong growth in private aviation demand across China and Asia-Pacific, driven by cross-border business activity and long-range travel demand.

Vista has reported continued growth in private aviation demand across China and the wider Asia-Pacific region, driven by increased cross-border business activity and growth in the ultra-high-net-worth market segment.

According to the company, annual flight traffic across China increased by 32% between 2024 and 2025, while Asia-Pacific recorded overall growth of 25% during the same period. Vista stated that flight activity within China rose by 28% year-on-year in 2025.

Hong Kong routes show strong activity

Vista said routes between Hong Kong and Shanghai have become among its busiest regional sectors this year, alongside services between Hong Kong and Tokyo. Demand originating from Hong Kong increased by 35%, reflecting continued business and travel activity across the region.

The company attributed the growth to stronger regional economic connectivity and increasing demand for flexible long-haul travel among corporations and high-net-worth travellers. Vista also referenced continued expansion in China’s ultra-high-net-worth population, citing the Knight Frank Wealth Report.

LONG-RANGE OPERATIONS SUPPORT EXPANSION

Vista stated that travel demand across Asia, Europe and North America remained resilient during 2025, supporting continued growth in ultra-long-range private aviation operations.

The company highlighted the introduction of the Bombardier Global 8000 aircraft as part of its regional expansion strategy. The aircraft offers a range of 8,000 nautical miles and can operate nonstop flights of up to 17 hours.

Vista also noted that the launch of XO in Asia during October 2025 formed part of its broader regional strategy, providing access to real-time private flight booking services alongside VistaJet’s subscription model.

The company’s network currently provides access to more than 2,400 airports across 96% of countries worldwide.

Regional expansion remains strategic focus

Crystal Wong, president Asia Pacific at Vista, said customers increasingly expect personalised services, operational flexibility and access to newer aircraft technologies. She added that regional expansion remains central to the company’s long-term strategy in Asia-Pacific.
