xCelle AMERICAS CELEBRATES ONE YEAR AS LICENSED LEAP NACELLE MRO PROVIDER

Hot Springs, AR — A major milestone has been marked in the world of nacelle maintenance as xCelle Americas, the OEM-licensed joint venture between AAR and Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M), celebrates its one-year anniversary of servicing LEAP-1A engines.

Established in 2021, xCelle Americas has steadily expanded its capabilities portfolio to support next-generation aircraft with nacelle maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services—extending to include OEM warranty and on-site services. Located in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the facility underscores the increasing importance of strategically placed MRO centres in the Americas.

As part of its LEAP-1A licensing milestone, xCelle Americas recently completed its 40th 787 nacelle repair. The joint venture secured its 787 component repair licence in 2022, supporting Boeing operators with full asset availability and comprehensive tooling. Today, it also provides nacelle services across multiple platforms, including LEAP-1B, GEnx, and T1000.

“xCelle Americas is proud to celebrate one year of supporting LEAP operators in the Americas, assisting them with streamlining their operations and optimising overall cost of nacelle ownership,” said Brad Tyler, Chief Operating Officer. “Our one-stop-shop approach maximises part availability while reducing customer downtime.”
