US Aviation Academy, a premier flight training institution, has announced a strategic fleet expansion with the acquisition of 38 Tecnam aircraft, further solidifying its role in training the next generation of pilots. This agreement, which includes an option for 52 additional aircraft, will see deliveries continuing through 2026 and 2027.
Strengthening Training Capabilities
The new aircraft include:
- Tecnam P2010 (Lycoming IO-360): A modern, single-engine aircraft with advanced avionics and superior handling, making it ideal for instrument flight rules (IFR) training.
- Tecnam P2006T MKII (Rotax 912S3): A versatile twin-engine aircraft designed to provide students with multi-engine experience, crucial for comprehensive flight training.
This investment aligns with US Aviation Academy’s commitment to providing high-quality, cost-effective training to meet the increasing demands of airline and government pilot training contracts.
A Growing Institution with a Proven Track Record
Founded in 2006, US Aviation Academy has evolved into a world-class aviation training center, offering professional pilot, aircraft technician, and dispatcher training. With approximately 175 aircraft across multiple bases and over 1,500 students, the academy provides direct pathways to major airlines, including Delta, United, and Southwest Airlines.
“At US Aviation Academy, we are committed to providing our students with the best training experience possible, and the addition of these new Tecnam aircraft to our fleet is a testament to that commitment,” said Scott Sykes, Director of US Aviation Academy.
