With over 40 years of experience in aviation products, White Lightning delivers Ground Power Units, BatteryMINDer® solutions, and connection kits designed for aircraft power and battery maintenance.
Advanced Power for Modern Aviation
The latest addition to the White Lightning range, the SmartGPU™, is a specialised switching-mode power supply designed to provide pilots and aviation maintenance professionals with a stable, high-current, noise-free DC power source that mirrors in-flight electrical conditions.
The 28-volt unit offers outputs ranging from 54 to 114 amps, depending on the model. Crucially, the SmartGPU™ powers an aircraft’s electrical bus without using its battery or engine, ensuring safe and continuous operation of sensitive avionics and airframe systems.
Smart Features for Enhanced Usability
One of the SmartGPU™’s standout features is its mobile app compatibility, allowing users to monitor power draw remotely from a smartphone or tablet, whether from the cockpit or across the hangar.

Available in 14V, 28V, and dual-voltage models, White Lightning GPUs feature standard 6ft. AN2551 3-Pin aircraft power cables, with additional support for single-pin Piper-style connections.
