FTAI AVIATION EXPANDS GLOBAL REACH WITH QUICKTURN EUROPE JOINT VENTURE

NEW YORK / ROME — June, 2025: FTAI Aviation Ltd. (Nasdaq: FTAI) has announced the successful closing of its joint venture with Italy-based IAG Engine Center, marking a strategic expansion of the company’s global maintenance capabilities. The new entity, QuickTurn Engine Center Europe S.r.l., is based at Rome Fiumicino Airport and adds a third CFM56 engine maintenance facility to FTAI’s international network, complementing existing sites in Montréal and Miami.

This 200,000-square-foot MRO facility is expected to boost FTAI’s CFM56 module maintenance capacity by 33%, increasing output by 450 modules annually — the equivalent of 150 additional engines. With full-scale integration, FTAI’s total capacity will reach 1,800 modules and over 600 engine tests per year.

“Our joint venture with IAG Engine Center marks a milestone in our expansion into Europe and our overall maintenance capabilities,” said Joe Adams, CEO of FTAI Aviation. “QuickTurn Europe’s robust repair capabilities will provide expanded MRE services to FTAI’s global customer base in a critical geographic location, ensuring increased efficiency and reliability.”

Strategically located at Rome Fiumicino Airport, one of Europe’s busiest and most connected aviation hubs, QuickTurn Europe is positioned to offer just-in-time engine support to European airlines. The site features a state-of-the-art CFM56 test cell, and piece-part repair capabilities are expected to be operational in the second half of 2025.

“The partnership with FTAI will optimise operations at the facility, enabling faster, more efficient services to airlines across Europe,” added Mauricio Luna, CEO of IAG Engine Center. “We are excited to continue to innovate and bring additional value to airlines and asset owners around the world.”

“With this significant industrial investment, we expect hundreds of new skilled jobs will be created as QuickTurn Europe grows,” said Ivan Bassato, Chief Aviation Officer of Aeroporti di Roma (ADR). “Rome Fiumicino’s central location and connectivity make it an ideal hub for maintenance services. This will have a positive impact on the economy of Fiumicino, Rome, the Lazio region, and Italy as a whole.”

This joint venture strengthens FTAI’s position as a global leader in CFM56 and V2500 engine maintenance, and aligns with its long-term strategy to support airlines with efficient, scalable solutions through innovative products like the Module Factory and a joint venture for PMA engine parts manufacturing.
