EMBRAER IPANEMA 203 SECURES DINAC CERTIFICATION, EXPANDS INTO PARAGUAY

Embraer’s Ipanema 203 cropduster gains DINAC certification, enabling operations in Paraguay. The aircraft offers high productivity, low operating costs, and sustainable spraying solutions.

Botucatu, São Paulo – 18 December 2025 – Embraer’s (NYSE: EMBJ / B3: EMBJ3) Ipanema 203 cropduster has received certification from Paraguay’s National Directorate of Civil Aeronautics (DINAC), paving the way for the aircraft to begin operations in the country. This homologation marks a significant step in the aircraft’s ongoing expansion across strategic Latin American markets.

“The DINAC certification is an important milestone in Ipanema’s success story. It begins our expansion into strategic markets that seek high productivity, efficiency, low operating cost, and sustainability in the sector,” said Sany Onofre, leader of Agricultural Aviation at Embraer. “We are ready to continue offering an excellent spraying solution and meet the needs of future customers in a simple and agile way.”

Paraguayan agricultural operators now have access to the Ipanema 203 as an additional spraying solution. Beyond supporting local productivity gains, the certification facilitates the aircraft’s export process, backed by a dedicated team to serve future customers in Paraguay.

The Ipanema 203 has long been preferred by operators for its low operating costs, precision, and productivity. With over 1,700 units delivered, it offers efficiency equivalent to four large ground sprayers operating simultaneously. Powered by ethanol, the Ipanema 203 can spray more than 200 hectares per hour, applying treatments without compacting soil or spreading pests, potentially increasing yields by up to 15 bags per hectare.

This latest certification underlines Embraer’s commitment to providing sustainable, efficient, and high-performance agricultural aviation solutions across Latin America.
