Leonardo Hotels has entered into a business partnership with the Board of Airline Representatives in Germany (BARIG), strengthening cooperation between the hotel group and the international airline association.
The Leonardo Hotels portfolio includes more than 220 hotels across Europe under five brands: Leonardo Hotels, Leonardo Royal Hotels, Leonardo Boutique Hotels, NYX Hotels by Leonardo Hotels and Leonardo Limited Edition. Many of these hotels are located near major European airports. In Germany, locations include Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Cologne, Stuttgart, Hanover and Nuremberg.
Â
Michael Hoppe, BARIG Chairman and Executive Director, said the partnership strengthens BARIG’s network, noting Leonardo Hotels’ presence at key European air traffic hubs and its broader European footprint.
Â
Leonardo Hotels works with multiple national and international airlines and maintains operational cooperation with aviation partners. The group says industry engagement helps refine services tailored to airline crew requirements, including flexible check-in and check-out models, room amenities, hotel services and specialised menu offerings.
Â
Roy Franke, Director of Sales Airline Business, Leonardo Hotels Central Europe, said the partnership with BARIG provides a platform to expand dialogue with the aviation industry and to present hospitality solutions tailored to airline operational requirements.
Â
BARIG represents the interests of more than 100 national and international airlines across scheduled, charter, low-cost and air cargo sectors. Established in 1951, the organisation works to support aviation industry operating conditions in Germany and acts as an interface with government, authorities, industry and media stakeholders.
