Qatar Airways will operate limited flights between 18 and 28 March due to ongoing Qatari airspace closure, with flexible travel options introduced for affected passengers.
Reduced schedule introduced amid airspace closure
Qatar Airways has announced that it will operate a limited number of flights to and from Doha between 18 and 28 March, as the closure of Qatari airspace continues to disrupt normal operations.
The airline confirmed that its regular scheduled services remain temporarily suspended while authorities assess the situation. Full operations are expected to resume once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority confirms that airspace can safely reopen.
Passengers advised to monitor travel updates
To support continued travel during the disruption, Qatar Airways will implement a revised schedule with a reduced number of flights over the period. The temporary schedule is intended to provide flexibility for passengers who still wish to travel.
Passengers holding confirmed bookings on flights included in the revised schedule will be contacted directly with updated flight details. Travellers are advised to check the airline’s website or mobile application regularly and ensure their contact information is up to date.
The airline has also advised passengers not to arrive at the airport unless they have a confirmed ticket, noting that schedules may change depending on operational and regulatory developments.
Flexible travel options introduced
Qatar Airways has introduced flexible travel options for affected customers. Passengers with bookings for travel between 28 February and 28 March 2026 may change their travel dates up to two times free of charge for travel up to 30 April 2026.
Alternatively, passengers may request a refund for the unused value of their ticket.
Focus remains on safety and passenger support
The airline stated that it continues to prioritise the safety and wellbeing of both passengers and crew while supporting customers during the disruption.
