The Do228 NXT turboprop aircraft received its official water salute at ILA Berlin 2026, marking another milestone for the new aircraft following its recent public debut.
Traditionally used to commemorate significant aviation occasions, the water salute recognised the launch of the new Do228 NXT aircraft series.
The aircraft was unveiled to the global public for the first time during ILA Berlin 2026 after completing its first flight and the required test procedures. The Do228 NXT demonstrator was displayed in a new special livery in the event’s static display area.

According to the company, ILA Berlin 2026 provided an opportunity to introduce the aircraft to manufacturers, customers and international delegations from across the aviation industry.
During the public days of the exhibition, the Do228 NXT attracted significant visitor interest and became one of the most photographed aircraft at the event.
