ATECH LAUNCHES MODULAR AIR TRAFFIC FLOW MANAGEMENT PLATFORM AT ICAO FORUM

The Embraer Group technology company unveiled its next-generation ATFM solution at ICAO Air Navigation World 2026 in Montreal, designed to let air navigation service providers scale capabilities incrementally.

Atech, an Embraer Group technology company, announced its next-generation Air Traffic Flow Management solutions at ICAO Air Navigation World 2026 in Montreal. The platform combines a modular, highly scalable architecture with flexible deployment options, letting air navigation service providers roll out ATFM capabilities incrementally in line with their own operational needs and investment strategies. Designed to support organisations at different levels of operational maturity, it offers advanced strategic, pre-tactical and tactical planning capabilities for the collaborative management of air traffic demand and airspace capacity, supporting both advance operational planning and the dynamic adjustment of traffic flows in response to weather events, operational constraints or changes in demand.

Atech says the ability to anticipate bottlenecks well in advance brings direct efficiency and sustainability benefits, reducing the time aircraft spend in holding patterns near their destinations and, with it, fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions, while also reducing delays for passengers and airlines. The company says the platform’s modular design keeps it a cost-effective option for countries with growing aviation markets in Latin America, Africa and Asia. “The digital transformation of airspace management calls for flexible, interoperable solutions that can evolve at each organization’s pace. Our new ATFM platform was designed with exactly that in mind: to deliver world-class technology used every day in one of the world’s most complex airspaces, with the modularity needed to serve everyone from providers in the early stages of implementation to highly sophisticated ANSPs”, said Marcos Resende, Atech’s Vice President of ATM Business.

The platform joins Atech’s existing portfolio of digital air traffic management solutions, strengthening the company’s position in developing mission-critical technologies for the aerospace sector. At ICAO Air Navigation World 2026, running in Montreal from 5 to 9 October, Atech will showcase the platform at its booth, with demonstrations covering use cases and implementation steps.
