AEM UNVEILS NEW LOW IMPEDANCE DIGITAL AUDIO SYSTEM OPTION

Anodyne Electronics Manufacturing introduces the G13000RL low impedance router for the P139-HD Digital Audio System, expanding military and ISR aircraft communication capabilities.

New router expands P139-HD Digital Audio System capability for military and special mission aircraft

KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA, 5 MARCH 2026 – Anodyne Electronics Manufacturing Corp (AEM) has introduced a new low impedance router option for its P139-HD Digital Audio System.

The new G13000RL Low Impedance Router is designed to support low impedance headsets rated at 5Ω and 8Ω. The addition expands the operational capability of the P139-HD system, which is currently used by law enforcement and special mission operators globally.

ROUTER EXPANDS MILITARY AND ISR APPLICATIONS

According to AEM, the new router configuration enables the P139-HD platform to support a broader range of military and specialised mission aircraft, including both rotary and fixed-wing platforms used in training and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) roles.

Tony Weller, Sales and Marketing Director at AEM, said the company had received requests from aircraft integrators and military operators for a dedicated low impedance solution suited to ISR and training missions.

He noted that the introduction of the new router allows additional operators to utilise the mission communication system.

SYSTEM DESIGN AND CAPABILITIES

The G13000RL router supports up to eight headset ports and can interface with up to 10 transceivers and 18 receive-only channels. It also includes 12 additional keylines designed for specialised functions or mission equipment operation.

The compact unit incorporates a 25W speaker driver and is designed to route and mix aircraft audio from multiple sources. Audio control is managed through connected control panels and configured according to specific mission requirements.

MODULAR DIGITAL AUDIO PLATFORM

The P139-HD Digital Audio System is a modular and scalable platform designed to centralise the control and routing of aircraft audio signals. The system integrates audio from transceivers, receivers, headsets, recorders and other onboard audio sources.

The platform also supports intercom routing, Bluetooth-enabled devices and multiple talk groups within the aircraft communications architecture.

AEM will demonstrate the new router at VERTICON 2026 in Atlanta and at Aircraft Electronics Association Convention & Trade Show 2026 in Dallas.
