AERO FRIEDRICHSHAFEN 2026 SEES RECORD BUSINESS AVIATION PRESENCE

AERO Friedrichshafen 2026 will feature its largest-ever business aviation showcase, with increased aircraft representation, expanded partnerships and a broader industry programme.

RECORD AIRCRAFT REPRESENTATION

AERO Friedrichshafen 2026 will open on 22 April with a record 50 business aviation aircraft on display, up from 30 the previous year.

The exhibition will include a mix of fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, reflecting continued growth in the business aviation segment within the broader general aviation sector.

OEM AND AIRCRAFT HIGHLIGHTS

Major manufacturers will present a range of current aircraft, including:

  • Cessna Citation Ascend
  • Dassault Falcon 6X
  • Bombardier Global 6500
  • Daher TBM 980

Additional aircraft on display include the Cirrus Vision Jet and Piaggio P.180 Avanti Evo, alongside a broader line-up detailed in the event programme.

The diversity of aircraft types highlights the range of mission profiles within business aviation, from turboprops to long-range jets.

EXPANDED PROGRAMME AND INDUSTRY PARTICIPATION

The 2026 edition introduces an expanded business aviation programme, including new partnerships, forums and exhibitor participation.

More than 850 exhibitors from 50 countries are expected, with new participants including JetEx, ViaSat, CAE and FlightSafety International.

Industry associations from Asia, Europe and the Middle East will also be represented, reflecting the increasingly global nature of the business aviation market.

FOCUS ON CHARTER, OWNERSHIP AND OPERATIONS

New programme elements include forums hosted by The Air Charter Association, covering topics such as charter operations, regulatory risk and broker roles.

Additional panel discussions will address aircraft ownership, acquisition and operational challenges, providing a platform for industry stakeholders to engage on current market dynamics.

OPERATIONAL CONTEXT

The increased scale of business aviation at AERO Friedrichshafen reflects sustained demand for flexible, point-to-point air transport solutions and continued investment in both aircraft and supporting services.

The event’s expanded format suggests a shift towards more structured engagement across the value chain, from aircraft acquisition to charter operations and lifecycle support.
