ANTAVIA has been awarded Authorised Repair Centre status by Héroux-Devtek, expanding landing gear MRO capability for Embraer business jets in Europe.
AUTHORISATION FOR LANDING GEAR SUPPORT
ANTAVIA, a business of AMETEK MRO, has been appointed as an Authorised Repair Centre (ARC) by Héroux‑Devtek.
Â
The agreement covers the repair and overhaul of landing gear systems for Embraer Legacy and Embraer Praetor aircraft across Europe.
Â
Â
TECHNICAL CAPABILITY AND INFRASTRUCTURE
ANTAVIA brings established engineering capability to the programme, including non-destructive testing, machining, surface treatment and painting, all supported by in-house resources.
Â
Operations will be conducted from facilities in Paris and Campsas (Toulouse), reflecting continued investment in tooling, engineering expertise and infrastructure.
Â
The ARC designation formalises ANTAVIA’s role within Héroux-Devtek’s global support network, strengthening regional support for operators of Embraer business jets.
Â
Â
OEM–MRO ALIGNMENT
The agreement reflects a broader industry trend in which original equipment manufacturers are increasingly partnering with specialised MRO providers to support in-service aircraft.
Â
As outlined in the release, OEMs are focusing on core manufacturing activities while outsourcing maintenance and repair functions to dedicated providers, allowing for more efficient support without impacting production lines.
Â
Such arrangements are typically underpinned by long-term technical alignment and quality assurance requirements, reinforcing reliability across the support network.
Â
Â
OPERATIONAL CONTEXT
For business aviation operators, authorised repair centre agreements are a key component of lifecycle support, ensuring access to approved maintenance capability and consistent turnaround standards.
Â
The appointment of ANTAVIA expands available capacity within Europe at a time when supply chain pressures and fleet utilisation continue to place demands on MRO infrastructure.
