The Embraer Group company has signed memorandums of understanding with Portugal’s Beyond Vision and Spain’s Grupo Oesia, covering unmanned aircraft systems and embedded defence technologies, as part of its international expansion.
Atech, a Brazilian technology company within the Embraer Group, has signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with Portugal’s Beyond Vision and Spanish conglomerate Grupo Oesia during Euronaval in France, the company said in Paris on 4 November 2026. Atech describes the agreements as a decisive step in strengthening its presence in strategic European markets.
The cooperation with Beyond Vision covers the unmanned aircraft segment, combining the Portuguese manufacturer’s expertise in platforms, hardware and counter-UAS systems with Atech’s command, control and intelligence solutions. The alliance with Grupo Oesia, which Atech describes as a leading Spanish engineering group, prioritises the development and interoperability of embedded systems and defence technologies.
“Strengthening these alliances underscores our commitment to building a robust international ecosystem, aligned with the Embraer Group’s long-term vision,” said Rodrigo Persico, Atech’s CEO. “By combining complementary capabilities with companies that already have a strong regional presence, we accelerate our international expansion and position ourselves as a highly reliable partner for strategic global projects,” he added.
“From a commercial and defense business perspective, these agreements significantly increase our competitiveness and market reach. The synergy between our portfolios enables us to meet the most complex operational demands in the naval and security sectors, combining cutting-edge solutions in onboard systems, drone technologies and mission intelligence with a coordinated commercial approach to capture new market opportunities,” said Giacomo Staniscia, Atech’s Vice President of Defense Business.
