(NYSE: TXT), proudly announced a significant milestone during the FIDAE 2024 exhibition: the delivery of the 800th commercial aircraft cabin by Bell Mexico to the Bell Canada Assembly Center for final aircraft assembly. This achievement marks a remarkable milestone for Bell Mexico, coming on the heels of its 15-year operational anniversary.
Danny Maldonado, Chief Commercial Officer at Bell, emphasised the milestone as a testament to Bell’s unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. “The 800th cabin milestone is a testament to not only Bell’s commitment to our customers, but also to our facilities that work together to ensure a cohesive pipeline of creating top-of-the-line products to vigilantly assembling it, all at Bell-owned and operated facilities,” said Maldonado.
Established in 2010, Bell Mexico’s manufacturing facility in Chihuahua has been a cornerstone in the company’s global supply chain. The facility specialises in producing cabins, fuselages, electrical harnesses, components, instrument panels, and other structural elements for a range of Bell aircraft including the Bell 206L4, Bell 407, Bell 429, and Bell 412 platforms.
Luis Azua, General Manager of Bell Mexico, expressed pride in the team’s accomplishment. “Bell Mexico is proud to celebrate producing our 800th commercial aircraft cabin,” said Azua. “Our team remains ready to support our customers around the world through high-quality aircraft cabins and components.”
Bell’s presence in Latin America has been substantial, with over 850 operators and nearly 1,400 commercial aircraft currently in service across the region. This success has facilitated the establishment of a robust aftermarket network, including Customer Service Facilities and Authorised Maintenance Facilities in numerous Latin American countries.
