CAE PARTNERS WITH GLOBAL CROSSING AIRLINES FOR EXCLUSIVE A320 PILOT TRAINING DEAL

CAE and Global Crossing Airlines have inked a substantial, long-term deal to facilitate pilot training exclusively. Under this agreement, CAE will deploy and manage an Airbus A320 family full-flight simulator (FFS) in Miami, Florida. Expected to be operational by the first quarter of 2024, this FFS will play a crucial role in supporting GlobalX’s expansion plans, particularly in light of the airline’s growing Airbus A321 freighter fleet.

John Coomes, GlobalX’s Vice President and Director of Operations, expressed satisfaction with the agreement, highlighting the dedication to safety that underpins this collaboration. Coomes emphasised the significance of CAE’s confidence in GlobalX, signaling a promising partnership ahead.

Michel Azar-Hmouda, Division President of Commercial Aviation Training at CAE, extended a warm welcome to GlobalX as a new client. He affirmed CAE’s commitment to supporting the airline’s expansion with top-notch training facilities. Azar-Hmouda underscored CAE’s mission to provide immersive training experiences, empowering pilots with the skills and confidence needed for optimal performance in every flight.
