In a meeting with South Sudanese Transport Minister Madut Biar Yel, Hefny reiterated Egypt’s commitment to supporting Arab nations through the exchange of expertise and specialized training programs in civil aviation. He emphasized Egypt’s role in fostering collaboration and capacity building across the region.

 

During their discussion, the ministers explored opportunities for strengthening bilateral relations, including the possibility of launching a new air freight line between Cairo and Juba, South Sudan’s capital. Both parties agreed to continue their dialogue and coordination in the coming months to address challenges and explore ways to enhance cooperation in the aviation sector.

 

This move is seen as part of a broader effort by Egypt to establish stronger regional ties, using aviation as a key tool for economic and diplomatic collaboration with its neighbors.
