Etihad Airways has confirmed the relaunch of direct services between Abu Dhabi and Medina, reinstating a non-stop connection ahead of the Ramadan travel period.
The carrier states that the route operates four times per week, providing passengers travelling for Umrah with a direct option between the UAE capital and Saudi Arabia’s second holiest city. The reinstatement reduces reliance on connecting itineraries and is intended to support schedule reliability on this city pair.
The move aligns with seasonal demand patterns linked to Ramadan travel, with the non-stop service positioned to accommodate increased passenger flows during the pilgrimage period.
