NETJETS EQUIPS PILOTS WITH FLIGHTPULSE® FOR ENHANCED SAFETY AND PERFORMANCE

Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio – July 29, 2025 – NetJets, the global leader in private aviation and fractional ownership, has announced the adoption of GE Aerospace’s FlightPulse® across its U.S. and European operations, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to safety and operational excellence.

The company becomes the first shared ownership provider to deploy the cutting-edge application, giving its more than 4,400 pilots worldwide secure access to consolidated flight data to enhance safety, efficiency and decision-making from takeoff to landing. Deployment is expected to begin later this year.

“In the world of aviation, safety is paramount and will always be NetJets’ first and highest priority, integral to every decision we make,” said Adam Johnson, NetJets Chairman and CEO. “As the industry leader, it is our responsibility to elevate our safety programs by utilising cutting-edge tools like FlightPulse® to continue to bring best-in-class service to our customers worldwide.”

Developed by pilots for pilots, FlightPulse® is a modular Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) application that delivers pre- and postflight insights directly to flight crews. By enabling aviators to analyse their own performance, self-critique flight profiles, and benchmark against peers, the tool promotes continuous improvement in both safety and sustainability.

As an extension of GE Aerospace’s Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) programme, FlightPulse® integrates operational data to give pilots rapid feedback on risk management, aircraft functionality and fuel efficiency. On average, the platform processes data from 2.5 million flights per day, translating into actionable insights that support safer and more efficient operations.

“Collaborating with NetJets marks a significant milestone, expanding the global reach of business jet pilots using our software,” said Andrew Coleman, President and General Manager of GE Aerospace’s Software as a Service. “Together, we are helping to drive innovation and safety in aviation by providing pilots with actionable, data-driven insights to optimise every flight.”

NetJets has long been recognised as a safety pioneer, having been the first shared ownership operator to implement a FOQA programme. The introduction of FlightPulse® is the latest evolution of its safety-first philosophy, providing pilots with next-generation tools to safeguard both flight crews and passengers.
