PEGASUS AIRLINES LAUNCHES DIRECT ROUTE BETWEEN BRISTOL AND ISTANBUL

LONDON, 8 July 2025 — Pegasus Airlines has expanded its international network with the launch of a brand-new direct service connecting the UK’s southwest region with Türkiye’s cultural capital. The inaugural flight departed today from Bristol Airport to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, marking a strategic step in the carrier’s ongoing growth across Europe.

The new route will operate three times a week, with flights departing Bristol every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Return services from Istanbul will operate on the same days, offering travellers consistent and convenient options throughout the week.

This development not only provides passengers from Bristol with direct access to Istanbul — a city uniquely straddling two continents and divided by the Bosphorus Strait — but also opens the gateway to over 150 onward destinations. Through Pegasus Airlines’ growing network, travellers can connect from Istanbul across Türkiye and to key cities in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia.

Fares for the Bristol–Istanbul route start at just £70 one-way, including taxes. Tickets are available for booking through the Pegasus website at flypgs.com and via the Pegasus mobile app.

The launch is part of Pegasus Airlines’ broader summer expansion strategy, aimed at strengthening its presence in Europe while offering passengers more affordable travel options and greater global connectivity.
