INTEGRATED FACILITY TO SUPPORT GROWING FLEET

The new development will include a dedicated customer delivery centre, where owners will be able to configure and personalise aircraft such as the Pilatus PC-12 and Pilatus PC-24.

In parallel, the facility will expand Pilatus’ engineering capabilities and passenger seat processing operations, supporting the increasing size of its in-service fleet.

The project represents an investment of approximately USD 50 million and is expected to create more than 50 skilled jobs.

STRATEGIC FOCUS ON THE US MARKET

According to the company, the United States remains its most significant market, with the new facility aimed at enhancing customer engagement and streamlining the ownership experience.

The development follows the consolidation of Pilatus’ US subsidiaries into a single entity, Pilatus Aircraft USA Ltd, effective from January 2026. The move has created a unified organisation of approximately 400 employees across multiple locations, including Colorado, Maryland, South Carolina, and Georgia.

SUSTAINABILITY BUILT INTO DESIGN

Environmental considerations form a central element of the project. The new building is designed to achieve LEED Gold certification and will incorporate photovoltaic systems to generate solar energy.

This approach reflects a broader industry trend toward integrating energy efficiency and sustainability into aviation infrastructure, particularly as manufacturers expand global operations.

Beyond production and engineering functions, the facility highlights the increasing importance of customer-facing infrastructure in business aviation.
