RYANAIR LAUNCHES RECORD WINTER SCHEDULE FOR AMMAN

Amman, Jordan — October 23, 2025. Europe’s airline, Ryanair, has announced its largest-ever Winter schedule for Amman, offering more than 300,000 seats across 18 destinations and connecting Jordan to 12 European Union countries including Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.

The expansion marks the rapid restoration of Ryanair’s full operations at Amman Airport and reflects both the pro-business approach of the Jordanian Government and the strategic support of local aviation authorities. Together, these efforts reinforce Jordan’s position as one of the Middle East’s most attractive and accessible tourism destinations.

Ryanair’s latest initiative includes an ambitious proposal to grow annual traffic to 3 million passengers, increase routes to 50 direct European connections, and expand services across Amman, Marka, and Aqaba airports.

“Ryanair is thrilled to announce the return to full operations to Jordan from October, underlined by a record Winter schedule for Amman,” said Eddie Wilson, Ryanair CEO. “With 84 weekly flights across 18 routes to 12 European countries, this investment will ensure that Jordan remains a key tourist destination this Winter – delivering enhanced connectivity, increased tourism, and economic growth with Europe’s lowest fares.”

Wilson added that Ryanair’s continued partnership with Jordan supports tourism, job creation, and economic development, and aims to introduce millions of European travellers to the country’s “rich culture and unique history.”

A Growing Partnership Since 2018

Jordan’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Emad Hijazeen, hailed the announcement as a “truly exceptional milestone” for the nation’s aviation and tourism sectors.

“This expansion not only reinforces Jordan’s position as a key tourism and investment hub in the region but also plays a vital role in supporting our national economy and creating new opportunities across the tourism value chain,” said Dr. Hijazeen.

The Jordan Tourism Board’s Managing Director, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, highlighted Ryanair’s impact since the start of the partnership in 2018. “Ryanair has been an essential strategic tool in promoting Jordan as a competitive and accessible destination for European travellers,” he said. “Together, we have achieved exceptional results, welcoming more than a million visitors from across Europe.”

Beyond expanding routes, Ryanair and the Jordan Tourism Board have collaborated on localized marketing campaigns across multiple languages and markets. These efforts have played a “transformative role” in positioning Jordan globally — appealing to cultural explorers, adventure seekers, and families alike.

Ryanair’s record Winter 2025/26 program underscores its long-term commitment to Jordan and its role in driving tourism growth, economic resilience, and international connectivity for the Hashemite Kingdom.
