Swartz Aviation Group has completed four Bombardier Challenger transactions in three months, including international aircraft, highlighting sustained demand for large-cabin and super-midsize business jets.
Swartz Aviation Group has completed four Bombardier Challenger aircraft transactions over a three-month period, reflecting continued demand for large-cabin and super-midsize business jets. The completed deals comprise three Challenger 605 aircraft and one Challenger 350.
Two of the transactions involved aircraft based outside the United States, one in Canada and one in Argentina. In both cases, Swartz Aviation structured and managed the import process, enabling the aircraft to be brought into the United States without tariff exposure for the buyers. The company notes that internationally based aircraft can be overlooked by buyers unfamiliar with regulatory and tax considerations, despite offering viable options in a constrained domestic market.
Ongoing tariff considerations and limited availability of U.S.-based inventory continue to shape buyer strategies, with a growing number of purchasers evaluating aircraft located outside the United States. Swartz Aviation advises clients on both domestic and international transactions, covering import and export requirements, regulatory compliance, inspections and closing structures.
Challenger activity aligned with broader market patterns
According to Swartz Aviation, the recent Challenger transactions reflect wider market trends favouring newer-generation aircraft with established performance, range and long-term operational support. Challenger 605 aircraft, particularly those configured for 12 passengers, continue to attract consistent buyer interest, while the Challenger 350 remains one of the most actively traded super-midsize jets.
The company also observes that many owners progress from smaller aircraft to larger-cabin platforms as operational requirements change. Across the wider market, transaction activity continues to focus on aircraft that support scalable ownership and global operations, including the Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24, Embraer Phenom 300/300E and Praetor 500/600, Bombardier Challenger 300, 350 and 605, as well as the Dassault Falcon 2000 and 900 series.
