TRUENOORD DELIVERS TWO ATR 42-600S TO PREMIUM US REGIONAL CARRIER JSX

TrueNoord has delivered two ATR 42-600 aircraft to US public charter carrier JSX, supporting fleet expansion and strengthening regional turboprop operations in North America.

Aircraft support expansion of JSX’s ‘hop-on’ public charter model

TrueNoord has completed the delivery of two ATR 42-600 aircraft to US public charter carrier JSX. The first aircraft was delivered in November 2025, followed by the second in January 2026. Both turboprops are now in operation with the airline.

The transaction reinforces TrueNoord’s presence in the North American ATR turboprop market and supports JSX’s continued fleet and network expansion within its premium ‘hop-on’ service model.

Strengthening regional connectivity

Maarten Grift, Sales Director – Americas at TrueNoord, described the placement as an important milestone for both companies and for the wider US regional market. He noted that the ATR 42-600 offers a modern, cost-efficient solution for routes where jets may not be commercially or operationally viable. He added that JSX’s adoption of the type reflects confidence in turboprop operations and the aircraft’s ability to provide convenience and comfort for premium passengers.

Alex Wilcox, CEO of JSX, said the introduction of the ATR 42-600 into the fleet supports the airline’s strategy to expand access to simplified regional air travel across the United States. He stated that the aircraft’s versatility will open new opportunities in regional mobility and allow the carrier to reach more communities.

Focus on asset quality and long-term solutions

Paul Murphy, Chief Financial Officer of TrueNoord, said the deliveries align with the lessor’s focus on prudent investment in high-quality assets that contribute to a stable and sustainable financial platform for both the company and its customers.

Grift added that the placement reflects TrueNoord’s commitment to providing flexible, long-term regional fleet solutions. He said the company looks forward to supporting JSX’s public charter operations and growth plans.
