BELL SECURES THREE EUROPEAN ORDERS FOR VIP-CONFIGURED 429 HELICOPTERS

Bell Textron secures three European orders for VIP-configured Bell 429 helicopters, highlighting continued demand in the corporate aviation sector.

Corporate demand strengthens light twin presence across UK and Baltic markets

Bell Textron has confirmed three new orders for corporate-configured Bell 429 helicopters from VIP operators in the United Kingdom and Estonia, announced during AERO Friedrichshafen 2026.

The agreements reinforce continued demand for light twin helicopters in the European corporate and private aviation segment, where operators are prioritising flexibility, comfort, and performance.

CORPORATE AND VIP SEGMENT GROWTH

Bell indicated that the Bell 429 remains a strong performer in the corporate market, supported by its combination of speed, cabin space, and operational capability.

The aircraft is designed for passenger transport and offers seating for up to seven occupants, along with an integrated avionics suite and instrument flight rules (IFR) capability. Its flat-floor cabin configuration positions it competitively within the light twin category.

GLOBAL FLEET AND OPERATIONAL PROFILE

More than 500 Bell 429 helicopters are currently in operation worldwide, accumulating over 735,000 flight hours. The platform’s global footprint continues to support both corporate and utility missions, with Europe representing a steady growth market.

PRODUCT POSITIONING AND CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Bell has also recently introduced new interior options for the Bell 429 under its Designer Series, aimed at enhancing the passenger experience in response to customer feedback.

The latest orders reflect continued investment in premium aviation services, particularly within regional corporate mobility, where demand remains closely tied to operational flexibility and access.
