KENYA AIRWAYS PARTNERS WITH TRACE FOR AFRICA FORWARD — LE CONCERT

Kenya Airways has partnered with TRACE as Official Airline Partner for Africa Forward — Le Concert, supporting international travel logistics for the flagship Africa-France Summit cultural event in Nairobi.

Kenya Airways has partnered with TRACE as the Official Airline Partner for “Africa Forward — Le Concert,” a flagship cultural event linked to the Africa-France Summit taking place on 12 May 2026 at the Kasarani Indoor Arena in Nairobi.

The event, held under the patronage of Kenyan President William Ruto and French President Emmanuel Macron, will showcase leading African and French diaspora artists including Yemi Alade, Fally Ipupa, Youssou N’Dour and Abigail Chams in a celebration of African music, fashion, and creative exchange.

As part of the agreement, Kenya Airways will facilitate international travel logistics for hundreds of accredited travellers, including artists, management teams, and production personnel arriving in Nairobi from destinations across Africa and Europe.

Commenting on the partnership, Captain George Kamal, Acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Kenya Airways, said the airline viewed the collaboration as part of its broader role in connecting people, culture, and opportunity across the continent.

“At Kenya Airways, we believe that travel is about more than moving from one destination to another but rather about enabling the moments that bring people, culture, and opportunity together,” Kamal said.

TRACE Executive Chairman Olivier Laouchez said the partnership would help position African creativity at the centre of a global cultural conversation while ensuring efficient connectivity and audience reach.

The partnership also includes TRACE’s Futuristic Outfit Competition, where two audience participants will receive complimentary return air tickets as part of a fashion and lifestyle engagement initiative linked to the event.

According to the organisers, Africa Forward — Le Concert is expected to attract approximately 4,500 VIP guests and reach an estimated global audience of 500 million viewers through TRACE television channels, digital platforms, TV5 Monde, YouTube, TikTok, and African national television networks.

Kenya Airways currently serves 42 destinations globally, including 33 within Africa, operating through its Nairobi hub at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
