Chapman Freeborn has introduced a dedicated aerospace logistics product designed to support freight forwarders and logistics providers with rapid-response air charter solutions for aircraft-on-ground (AOG) and other time-critical supply chain requirements.
AEROSPACE LOGISTICS
Integrated support for time-critical operations
Chapman Freeborn has launched a dedicated aerospace product that brings together its specialist air charter, time-critical and aerospace logistics capabilities into a single service offering. Developed in response to continued pressure across aerospace supply chains, the product is aimed at freight forwarders and logistics providers requiring specialist transport solutions for urgent and complex aerospace shipments.
The service provides access to Full Charter, Part Charter, Next Flight Out (NFO) and On-Board Courier (OBC) solutions, supported by dedicated aerospace personnel. It also includes a dedicated 24/7/365 Aircraft-on-Ground (AOG) desk to provide rapid-response support for urgent maintenance requirements and other time-critical aerospace movements.
SUPPORTING OPERATIONAL CONTINUITY
Specialist services for complex shipments
The new offering is designed to support a wide range of aerospace logistics requirements, from smaller critical components transported via OBC or NFO to larger consignments requiring dedicated charter capacity, including aircraft parts, engines, tooling and other outsize cargo. According to Chapman Freeborn, the service combines charter expertise with aerospace-specific processes to help customers manage increasingly complex supply chain challenges.
The company said the product is intended to complement the services of freight forwarders and logistics providers rather than replace them. It is also supported by an internal system that identifies spare capacity on existing charter flights, helping to provide additional routing options and competitive capacity for destinations that may be underserved by scheduled cargo networks.
COMPLIANCE AND AVIATION EXPERTISE
Strengthening regulated aerospace support
Chapman Freeborn said its recent JOSCAR certification reinforces the launch by strengthening its compliance credentials for customers operating within the aerospace, defence and security sectors. The company noted that aerospace logistics frequently depends on rapid response, precision and reliability to minimise the operational impact of delayed components on aircraft availability, maintenance schedules and production timelines.
As part of Avia Solutions Group, Chapman Freeborn can also draw on wider aviation capabilities across the group, including ACMI services, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), pilot training, ground handling and other specialist aviation support.
