This week at EBACE 2024, Alliance Aviation Group is showcasing a newly painted Bombardier Global 6000, featuring a striking teal blue and white exterior. In a groundbreaking move, the aircraft includes a QR code on its exterior, allowing viewers to access information on which trips have been offset with carbon credits.
The twinjet, operated under the air operator certificate of Alliance Executive Jets—a division of Ireland’s Alliance Aviation Group—boasts an updated interior designed by British yacht designer Andrew Winch. This meticulously crafted interior will be available for viewing from Tuesday onwards.
The refurbishment of the aircraft was a collaborative project, aligning with a 120-month maintenance inspection at Bombardier’s London Biggin Hill Airport facility. The exterior painting was executed by General Atomics in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany. Meanwhile, the luxurious interior was produced by F/List in Austria and Berlin, and fitted at Biggin Hill Airport.
Alliance Executive Jets has been operating the Global 6000 since September 2020, during which it has logged approximately 2,000 charter flying hours. Although its home base is at Alliance’s MRO/FBO facility at Dublin Airport, the aircraft operates as a floating jet and is immediately available for charter from Geneva following its EBACE showcase.
In addition to the static display, Alliance Aviation Group is also participating alongside Transport Malta and the Malta Business Aviation Association at EBACE 2024.
