BGS EXTENDS SKYUP AIRLINES™ FUEL SUPPLY PARTNERSHIP IN THE BALTICS

Baltic Ground Services has extended its long-term fuel supply partnership with SkyUp Airlines™ across Tallinn, Riga and Palanga airports, supporting the airline’s expanding Baltic charter operations.

Baltic Ground Services (BGS) has extended its long-term partnership with SkyUp Airlines™, continuing aviation fuel supply operations across key Baltic airports as the airline expands its European charter network.

The renewed agreement will see BGS continue providing aviation fuel supply services at Tallinn Airport (TLL), Riga Airport (RIX), and Palanga Airport (PLQ) from April 2026 onwards, supporting SkyUp MT’s ongoing charter operations in the region.

The partnership between the two companies dates back to 2018, when BGS provided into-plane fueling services for SkyUp Airlines™ across multiple airports in Ukraine. Operations were temporarily interrupted following the outbreak of war in Ukraine, before cooperation resumed in 2022 as the airline shifted part of its operational focus to the Baltic region.

Since re-establishing operations in the Baltics, the relationship has expanded alongside SkyUp Airlines™’ growing charter and ACMI activities across Europe.

“Extending our cooperation with SkyUp Airlines™ reflects the strength of a partnership built on reliability and mutual trust,” said Vitalis Dudys, BGS Group Head of Commerce.

“We have supported SkyUp Airlines™ through different operational environments, and we are pleased to continue contributing to their growth in the Baltic region by ensuring consistent and efficient fueling services.”

SkyUp Airlines™ said reliable fuel supply remains essential as the carrier continues expanding its charter operations throughout Europe.

“Reliable fuel supply is a critical component of our operations, particularly as we continue to expand our charter network across Europe,” said Larysa Fedun, Head of Charter Department at SkyUp Airlines™.

“BGS has consistently demonstrated the ability to adapt to our operational needs, making them a trusted partner in the Baltic region.”

The renewed agreement ensures continued fuel supply support at strategically important Baltic gateways, providing operational continuity and flexibility for SkyUp Airlines™’ regional activities.

BGS currently operates across 10 airports in five countries throughout Central and Eastern Europe and forms part of Avia Solutions Group, which provides a range of aviation services including ACMI operations, MRO, training, and ground handling.
