Gulfstream Aerospace has established a dedicated on-site Customer Support office in Singapore, strengthening its Asia-Pacific service network and enhancing support capabilities for regional operators.
Gulfstream Aerospace has announced the establishment of a new on-site Customer Support office in Singapore, further strengthening its service network across the Asia-Pacific region and enhancing support for operators throughout the area.
The new office is located at Jet Aviation’s Singapore facility and provides Gulfstream customers with direct access to dedicated personnel, technical expertise and support services while their aircraft are operating within the region. The move marks the first time Gulfstream has formally established a Customer Support office at this location.
Dedicated regional support
The Singapore office is staffed by eight Gulfstream professionals, including customer technical managers, materials and quality specialists, a field service representative and a regional sales manager. The team will work exclusively on behalf of Gulfstream customers, supporting maintenance activities and providing operational assistance.
According to Gulfstream, the investment reflects growing activity across Asia and aims to provide a more seamless customer experience for aircraft owners and operators in the region.
“Gulfstream is seeing increased activity across Asia, and Singapore was a natural choice for our next Customer Support expansion given its role as a leading aerospace hub,” said Lor Izzard, Senior Vice President, Gulfstream Customer Support.
Strengthening Asia-Pacific capabilities
Jet Aviation Singapore is one of six Gulfstream factory-authorised service centres worldwide. The new on-site support office complements Gulfstream’s broader Asia-Pacific Customer Support network, which includes nine field service representatives and three Gulfstream FAST Field and Airborne Support Teams operating throughout the region.
The company also maintains 10 authorised warranty facilities worldwide, providing customers with access to warranty services, maintenance support and replacement parts.
Regional parts distribution hub
Gulfstream’s support infrastructure in Singapore also includes a dedicated distribution centre covering approximately 5,000 square feet (465 square metres). The facility fulfils more than 70% of regional parts orders and holds more than US$70 million in spare parts inventory.
The inventory supports aircraft repairs and forms part of Gulfstream’s long-term strategy to expand component support capabilities and improve parts availability for operators across the Asia-Pacific market.
