Saint-Germain, Canada / Wessling, Germany – 22 July 2025 — Rasakti, a global leader in precision aerospace manufacturing, has been selected by Deutsche Aircraft to supply specialised tooling and ground support equipment for the D328eco® regional turboprop aircraft. The collaboration reinforces both companies’ shared commitment to advancing sustainable aviation and operational excellence.
The contract supports the PW127XT-S engine, developed by Pratt & Whitney Canada, which powers the D328eco. The engine boasts 40% more time on wing, a 20% reduction in maintenance costs, and a 3% improvement in specific fuel consumption (SFC). Critically, it is certified to operate on 100% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), including Power-to-Liquid (PtL) — a major step forward in reducing aviation’s environmental impact.
“We are proud to support Deutsche Aircraft in their mission to redefine regional aviation with the D328eco,” said Simon Johns, Vice President of Global Sales & Business Development at Rasakti. “Our team is dedicated to delivering the highest quality tooling and support systems to ensure the success of this next-generation aircraft.”
As Deutsche Aircraft enters the industrialisation phase of its D328eco programme, the company is focused on securing dependable partners to maintain quality and efficiency across the board. Patricia Ferrari, Vice President of Supply Chain at Deutsche Aircraft, remarked: “Rasakti’s expertise in precision tooling and ground support equipment is a valuable addition to our supplier ecosystem. Reliable partners such as Rasakti are essential to ensuring quality, efficiency and sustainability across our operations.”
The D328eco is based on the proven Dornier 328 platform and is expected to enter into service in Q4 2027. With its advanced propulsion system and focus on green technology, the aircraft is uniquely positioned to meet the changing performance and environmental demands of regional aviation.
